STRAP-103 is a 17" long strap hinge with a 1 1/2" offset perfect for large shutters. Made of forged steel, the hinge has a black powder finish coat to resist weather damage.
The offset design of this classic hinge allows the shutter to swing past window trim as well as to provide ventilation behind your shutters.
The length of the hinge from the off set to the end of the ball is 17". The offset is 1 1/2". The height of the hinge is 1.5.
The pintel used to attach the hinge to your home is 3.25" high by 1.25" wide.
Two hinges are typically used to mount a shutter but large or heavy shutters may require three hinges.
All mounting screws are provided.
