C-103 8 oz Bottle of Darkening Solution
Our Darkening Solution works great if you want your hardware to instantly age. Simple immerse your piece in the darkening solution for a few seconds then pull it out to see if it has reached the desired color. If not, simply dip again and repeat until you are satisfied. When the desired color has been achieved, rinse in water and air dry. A quick buffing with very fine steel wool on the high spots will add highlights. One note of caution, please make sure that there are no finger prints on your pieces as they will become apparent when the item is darkened.
Please note that the solution will not work on lacquered or brass plated surfaces nor can it be used on any plated items.
