Split Trunk Rivets are brass plated stamped steel. Trunk rivets are sold in lots of 50 rivets.
Available in 4 Sizes: 1/2", 5/8", 11/16" and 7/8". Rivet Cap is 3/8" in diameter.
While there are multiple methods of securing the split rivets, one uses an end cap. Our T-201 is designed for use with all of our split Rivets. Use of the end caps is described below.
Directions for using Split Trunk Rivets:
1. Tap the Split Rivet through the wood or other surface exposing the pronged end.
2. Place a piece of wood or metal against the cap of the rivet.
3. Place cap of second rivet over the exposed rivet prongs and gently hammer. The rivet prongs will curl
into the rivet cap.
