K-109 Key with Polished Brass Finish

The picture of the traditional antique key, K-109 is brass plated with a polished finish.

The overall length is 2 1/2" and is 13/16" at it's widest. The shaft is 1 9/16" long and the throw, or distance from the center of the shaft to the end of the foot, is 3/8".

This key is also available in an antique finish.

Old fashioned key designs range from clean and simple to the very ornate.  The vintage key to an old farm house would likely be simple in design while the brass key to a high-end antique buffet may be very ornate.  When choosing a decorative key, think about the look you are looking to portray.
