T-104B Black Leather Trunk Handle

T-104B is  our most popular trunk handle and is made from two pieces of high quality leather stitched together with a durable threading.   Each handle is hand cut and machine stitched in an Amish tack and saddle shop located in a near by rural community. 

Overall measurements are 8 5/8" long by 1 3/16" wide by 5/16" thick.

T-104 is our most popular leather trunk handle. When choosing the most appropriate handle for your antique trunk, measure the distance between the existing handle loops or where the handles loops had been attached, and add on to that measurement enough so that your handle can easily slip between the handle and the trunk. Another factor to consider is how you are going to mount your leather trunk handle. The T-104 comes with and without slots. The difference between the two is that if you choose the handle with a slot, then your trunk handle will not be rigid once mounted. It you choose one without a slot, then your handle will maintain it's shape when mounted.

Leather handles were attached to the front or sides of a trunk using handle loops or end caps.  We carry a large selection of steel, brass and nickel plated styles.
