Steel Trunk Flap Hinge T-215

T-215 is a stamped steel trunk flap hinge. 

The hinge measures 4 1/8" long by 1 5/16' wide.  Flap hinges are found on a wide array of vintage trunks. They are made of steel and may rust over time if not treated with some sort of protective coating such as a lacquer.  If you choose to paint these hinges, please not that they must be washed in soap and water to remove a light protective coating of oil.  A light sanding prior to painting is highly recommended.
