Leather Trunk Handle with Slots in Natural T-104

T-104N is  our most popular trunk handle.  Each is made from two hand cut pieces of high quality leather and then machine stitched with heavy duty thread.  Our local Amish community is home to a saddle and tack shop where multiple generations of craftsman produce and repair high quality leather products.  Our handles are made in this tradition.

Overall measurements are 8 5/8" long by 1 3/16" wide by 5/16" thick.  Please note that the current stock is very light in color.  These handles can be dyed to the color of your choice. 

T-104 is our best selling style of leather trunk handle. When determining the length of trunk handle that would work best on your antique trunk and you are missing the original handle, measure the distance between the existing handle loops or where the handles loops had been attached. Add to that number enough length so that your handle can easily slip between the handle and the trunk. If you choose a handle that comes with a slot, then your trunk handle will not be rigid once mounted. It you choose one without a slot, then your handle will maintain it's shape when mounted.
